The new leadership of Infant and Early Childhood Special Interest Group (IEC SIG) has been busy planning for the year. We are delighted to announce that members of the IEC SIG will have opportunities to present their work, ideas, research at our membership meetings that occur every other month on the 4th Friday at 1pm CST. We have the following presentations scheduled thus far and we will be sending links to join via the listserv as the meetings get closer.
March 28, 2025: Erin Sadler, PsyD and team will present on their work at Children’s National Hospital
May 23, 2025: Abayomi Olaofe (a master’s student in Early Childhood Education in Nigeria) will present “Perceived Impact of School Uniform and Dress Codes on Early Years Pupils in Nigeria.”
July 25, 2025: Juliet Vogel, PhD from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell will present “Addressing Trauma-Related Needs of Young Children with Developmental Delays and Disabilities.”
The IEC SIG welcomes SCCAP members to join and be involved. Please reach out if you are interested in presenting at one of our meetings and/or interested in joining one of our committees (research, training and education or clinical practice).
